Hawaii County Charter Commission Dec 18th 2009 Meeting

Here is the 12/18 Charter [Revision] Commission discussing and voting whether to propose that the Community Development Plans be referenced in the County Charter  as part of the General Plan process. Six affirmative notes were needed (in other words a majority vote of the entire Charter Commission was needed).  The vote was 5-2 in favor of inclusion, however that is one vote short of the 6 necessary votes.  At this point to be reconsidered one of the nay sayers would have to agree to reverse his vote.
